Man Utd fixtures for December: Newcastle, Crystal Palace and Arsenal moved for TV

by Alex Matthews

Man Utd fixtures for December have a new look after the Premier League confirmed its broadcast selections and amendments on Monday. Three of United’s four games in the first part of the month now carry live television slots. All times below are UK time.

  • Coventry City (h) – Saturday 5 December, not selected for broadcast

What the changes mean for United

Three of the four Man Utd fixtures are on the road. The St James’ Park trip moves to a Wednesday night. In fact, it is one of eight Sky games that night, and the 8.15pm slot also holds Aston Villa v Everton, Bournemouth v Brighton and Brentford v Arsenal. Meanwhile, the Selhurst Park and Emirates trips take Sunday slots. The one home game is against Coventry City at Old Trafford on 5 December, and it is not on television.

However, the Sunday Man Utd fixtures are well spaced, which helps travelling supporters. Palace on the 13th, then Arsenal a week later, means supporters who travel will want to plan early. Meanwhile, the Premier League’s page lists every selection for other clubs. Because two of those away games are evening starts, fans should also check late train times before they book travel. Fans can find the full list on the Premier League’s page.

The Man Utd fixtures follow the 1-1 draw at Leeds, which stretched the winless run to five. We will update this guide if anything else changes.
