The Glazer family

The Glazer family took over the club in 2005. Joel and Avram Glazer are the current co-chairmen.

Ineos and Sir Jim Ratcliffe

After a takeover process in 2024, Ratcliffe’s Ineos became a minority owner. The 2025 upgrade of Carrington and the plan for a new stadium near Old Trafford both came out of that period.
