Manchester United U19s face Atletico de Madrid in the United Youth League on Tuesday afternoon, ahead of the senior teams’ Champions League meeting later in the day.

The match kicks off at 3pm BST at Centro Deportivo Wanda. Adam Lawrence’s side will look to follow an emphatic opening victory with another strong performance in Spain.

United Youth League game available live

United say this United Youth League match will be streamed for MUTV subscribers and members of the club’s official YouTube channel. Coverage begins shortly before kick-off, with Dave Stowell and Ben Thornley providing commentary.

Supporters who cannot watch can follow the club’s Match Centre for team news and live updates. A report and highlights will follow across United’s platforms.

This is the second United Youth League game for the young Reds. Their first six fixtures mirror those of the senior side, following United’s qualification for the Champions League.

Gabriel hat-trick set the opening standard

United opened their United Youth League campaign with a 5-0 win against Sabah at the Progress With Unity Stadium. The club recorded 44 shots and 80 per cent possession in a dominant performance.

Captain Amir Ibragimov scored inside two minutes, before Jacob Watson added the second. JJ Gabriel made it three shortly before half-time and scored twice more late on to complete his hat-trick.

That result placed United third in the league-phase table, level on points and goal difference with Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Stuttgart at the top.

What comes next in the United Youth League campaign?

The six United Youth League matches decide which teams advance from the Champions League path. United’s guide says the top 22 qualify for the knockout rounds.

Those sides then join ten teams from the domestic champions path in the round of 32. The competition moves into one-match knockout ties, with another draw for the round of 16 onwards.

For United, the immediate focus is more straightforward: follow the Sabah performance against a different opponent away from home. The opening result provides a strong starting point, but the Madrid match is a fresh test.

The senior side face the same opponents later on Tuesday. Read what Michael Carrick said before the Atletico match for the build-up to that game.

Kick-off, viewing information and the competition explanation are from Manchester United’s official Youth League guide.
