Massive twist: Billionaire Group from UAE Set for Secret Talks to Buy Man United as Glazers Finally Ready to Sell

by Alex Matthews

Manchester United could be heading for a massive change off the pitch, as reports claim club officials are meeting a UAE-based consortium who are “very serious” about buying the club from the Glazers.

This meeting is said to be taking place in London today, and it might be the first big step towards a full takeover that fans have wanted for years.

Big Meeting Set for Today

According to fresh reports, United officials will meet the group from the United Arab Emirates on Monday afternoon. The potential buyers are said to have the money and the motivation to complete a deal.

The same source who first revealed United’s move for Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba broke this latest story and the update has fans buzzing.

The Glazers, who have owned Manchester United since 2005, are now reportedly “open to all possibilities,” including a full sale. That could finally bring an end to their controversial reign at Old Trafford.

Ratcliffe and Amorim’s Future in the Spotlight

Meanwhile, there’s been plenty of drama on the pitch too. Ruben Amorim was under huge pressure before the international break, with reports claiming he could have been sacked if United had lost badly to Sunderland.

But the Portuguese coach survived after a 2–0 win over the Black Cats. Following the match, Sir Jim Ratcliffe backed his manager, saying he wants Amorim to stay for at least three years to prove his worth.

Ratcliffe, who owns 27.7% of Manchester United, currently controls football operations while the Glazers handle the business side. He has big plans for a new 100,000-seater stadium, though some of his cost-cutting moves have upset staff and former players.

Turki Al-Sheikh Sparks Takeover Hints

Earlier this week, Saudi official Turki Al-Sheikh created a storm online after hinting that United were close to completing a deal with a “new investor.”

He later clarified that he is not the buyer, nor is the investor from Saudi Arabia. But his post added more fire to the growing takeover rumours.

If these UAE talks are successful, United could soon see new owners with huge financial backing, something that could reshape the future of the club both on and off the pitch.

For now, all eyes are on today’s meeting, a meeting that could change Manchester United forever.
