Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim is under massive pressure after his team were beaten 3-0 by rivals Manchester City at Old Trafford.
Many fans thought this derby could be tight, but Pep Guardiola’s side were far too strong.
City controlled the game, with winger Jeremy Doku moving into the middle and causing all sorts of trouble.
He set up two goals, while Erling Haaland punished United’s sloppy play with another strike to seal the win.
It could have been worse for United, as City created plenty of chances and looked comfortable from start to finish.
This result leaves Amorim with big questions to answer. His 3-4-3 formation once again looked weak, with players struggling in their positions and showing little confidence.
Amorim Sticks to His Way
After the game, Amorim defended his system and said he will not change unless he wants to.
He told Sky Sports: “When I want to change my philosophy, I will change. If not, you have to change the man.”
His words made it clear that he believes in his way of football, even if results are poor.

He also admitted he knows fans are upset but promised he will “do everything” to bring success to United.
However, many supporters and pundits think his stubbornness is becoming a big problem.
Players don’t look comfortable in his set-up, and the gap between United and top teams like City seems to be getting wider.
Romano’s Update Sparks More Doubt
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano gave an update that only adds to the uncertainty.
When asked if United still have “100% belief” in Amorim, Romano avoided giving a straight answer.
He simply said Amorim still wants to give his best and believes time will fix things.
But Romano’s careful words suggest the club’s owners, INEOS, may not be fully convinced anymore.
United spent huge money in the summer, and results have not matched the investment.
Amorim is now the second favourite to be the next Premier League manager sacked, and pressure is building fast.
Chelsea Clash Could Be Crucial
Next weekend, United face Chelsea, and many believe this game could decide Amorim’s future.
A win would buy him some time, but another defeat might be the final straw for the board.
Fans are losing patience, results are poor, and the football is hard to watch.
Unless Amorim can turn things around quickly, his time at Old Trafford could end sooner rather than later.
