Man Utd Players Send Strong Signal After Garnacho’s Shock Transfer

by Alex Matthews

Alejandro Garnacho’s time at Manchester United is over after his £40million move to Chelsea, but the story has not ended there.

The young winger, only 21, shared an emotional goodbye to the club, and many of his former team-mates have already made their feelings clear.

Emotional Goodbye From Garnacho

After five years at Old Trafford, Garnacho posted a long message on social media.

He thanked the coaches, staff, and team-mates for supporting him from the day he arrived.

The Argentine star said he always gave everything when wearing the shirt and leaves proud of what he achieved.

In his note, Garnacho called his years at United “unforgettable” and promised he would now give his all at Chelsea.

He also wished Manchester United nothing but success for the future.

It was a message that showed both respect and sadness, and it quickly caught the attention of his old dressing room friends.

Team Mates Show Support

Midfielder Kobbie Mainoo, who himself was linked with a move away before the deadline, was one of the first to comment.

He wrote simply: “All the best bro,” showing the close bond between the pair.

Former United defender Sam Murray, who now plays for Carlisle, also sent a message of support, calling Garnacho his “hermano” meaning brother.

Other stars like Bruno Fernandes, Matthijs de Ligt, Joshua Zirkzee, Rasmus Højlund, Toby Collyer, and Dan Gore all pressed the like button on the farewell post.

Their reactions showed Garnacho still has plenty of respect inside the United camp, even if things had turned sour with manager Ruben Amorim.

Fallout With Amorim

The winger’s exit did not come out of nowhere. His relationship with Amorim was strained for months.

Last season, Garnacho was dropped for the Europa League final, a decision that did not sit well with him.

After the game, Garnacho liked posts on social media that suggested he should have started the match.

That behaviour caused controversy and led to criticism from the manager.

To make matters worse, he also made comments in the mixed zone that hinted at his unhappiness.

Amorim was clear in the summer that he wanted Garnacho gone, and the club finally agreed to sell when Chelsea came with a strong £40m offer.

What Comes Next

For United, it means losing another young player who had shown flashes of brilliance.

For Chelsea, it could be a big gain, as Garnacho has the talent to shine if he can settle quickly at Stamford Bridge.

Fans will watch closely to see how Garnacho handles his new chapter.

The move may hurt for many United supporters, but the backing he got from his ex-team-mates shows the winger leaves with friendships and respect intact.
