Manchester United’s new season has started in a strange way.
The team has played some good football under new manager Rúben Amorim, but results are not showing.
United have not won a game yet in the 2025/26 Premier League, and fans are already feeling worried.
One big talking point is about captain Bruno Fernandes.
The Portuguese star is now linked with a possible move away from Old Trafford, and the deal on the table is massive.
Reports say he could earn around £635,000 a week if he joins Saudi side Al-Ittihad.
Bruno in a New Role at United
For most of his United career, Bruno has been the main creative player.
He played as a number 10, often behind the striker, or sometimes even as a false nine.
In that position, he scored goals, gave assists, and carried the team in many big games.
But under Amorim, things are different. The new manager is using him in a deeper role, more like a defensive midfielder.
Instead of making runs in attack, Bruno is sitting further back and trying to control the play from midfield.
This change has not been easy for him. At 30 years old, Bruno looks less sharp and less dangerous.
In the first games of the season, he has struggled to influence matches in the way fans are used to seeing.
Saudi Offer Too Big to Ignore
According to reports, Al-Ittihad are ready to offer Bruno around £635,000 per week.
That is a huge wage, much higher than what he earns at United.
Only a few months ago, he turned down interest from Saudi side Al-Hilal.
But this time, talks with Al-Ittihad are said to be positive, and a deal looks realistic.
If he accepts, it could be one of the biggest moves of the summer.
For Bruno, it is a chance to secure one last giant contract before the later years of his career.
For United, it would be a huge loss so close to the end of the transfer window.
What Next for Manchester United?
If Bruno goes, United will have to move quickly to find a replacement.
Losing the captain and main playmaker would be a big blow.
Amorim already has pressure on his shoulders after a winless start, and this situation will only add to it. The next few days will be important.
Fans are waiting to see if their captain stays to fight for United, or if he takes the money and starts a new life in Saudi Arabia.
