Manchester United Set To Unleash £214M Attacking Trio In Brentford Clash: Fans Buzzing For Big Showdown

by Alex Matthews

Manchester United are ready to face Brentford this Saturday, with fans hoping to see the team push for their second win in a row.

The match will be played at the Gtech Community Stadium, kicking off at 12:30 UK time.

Ruben Amorim’s side will head into this clash with confidence after beating Chelsea last weekend.

That game gave United a much-needed boost, even if some critics said the win was helped by Chelsea going down to ten men after Robert Sanchez saw red.

Still, United showed attacking threat from the start, and they looked sharp when moving the ball.

Changes In Defence And Midfield

Amorim will have to make at least one change to his side, as Casemiro is suspended after his red card against Chelsea.

That means Manuel Ugarte is expected to step in and play in midfield. Ugarte will likely join up with Bruno Fernandes, who keeps his role as captain and main creator in the middle.

At the back, United could line up with Altay Bayindir in goal again. New signing Senne Lammens is still adjusting to life at Carrington, so Bayindir should keep his place.

The defence might stay the same, with Matthijs de Ligt, Harry Maguire, and Luke Shaw forming the back three.

Youngster Leny Yoro may have to wait for another chance from the bench.

On the flanks, Noussair Mazraoui is a doubt after missing training, but Amorim may still risk him.

If not, Diogo Dalot is ready to come in. On the left side, Patrick Dorgu is expected to keep his place as the first choice wing-back.

£214m Attack Finally Together

The big story for United fans is the attack. For the first time this season, Amorim is tipped to start all three of his big summer signings together.

That means Matheus Cunha, who has just come back from injury, will line up alongside Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko.

Mbeumo will be facing his old club Brentford, which adds extra spice to the contest. Sesko, leading the line, will look to cause problems with his height and movement, while Cunha brings energy and directness.

This trio cost the club around £214m, and supporters are desperate to see them link up properly at last.

Mason Mount could also come back into the squad after injury, but he may have to settle for the bench if Amorim goes with his new trio from the start.

Predicted XI

Bayindir, De Ligt, Maguire, Shaw, Mazraoui (or Dalot), Ugarte, Fernandes, Dorgu, Mbeumo, Cunha, Sesko.

United need a win to build momentum, and Brentford will not be an easy test away from home. But if Amorim unleashes his full attack, this could be the match where fans finally see the team’s true potential.
