Manchester United fans have been worried about losing a new target to rivals Manchester City.
Reports came out this week saying both clubs were ready to battle for the same goalkeeper.
But Fabrizio Romano, the top transfer reporter, has now explained what is really going on.
Man Utd Close To Lammens Deal
United have been looking for a new goalkeeper this summer. They like Gianluigi Donnarumma but the price is too high.
Because of that, the Red Devils turned to Royal Antwerp star Senne Lammens.
Romano says United already have an agreement with the player. Lammens has said yes to joining Old Trafford and he is ready for the move.
The only part left is for Man Utd and Antwerp to agree on the fee and payment plan. Antwerp are asking around €20m, and talks are going well.
Importantly, Romano also made it clear that if Lammens comes in, it does not mean Andre Onana will leave.
United want more strength in the goalkeeping position, not a replacement.

City Want Donnarumma, Not Lammens
The big twist came from rumours saying Manchester City were ready to hijack the Lammens deal.
Fans feared City could take the young Belgian keeper at the last moment, just like they have done with other players before.
But Romano was very clear: City are not moving for Lammens.
Their focus is only on Donnarumma, and that will only happen if Ederson leaves for Galatasaray. Until then, City are not a threat for this United deal.
This news is a relief for United fans who thought they might lose another target to their noisy neighbours.
United Still Want A Midfielder
The goalkeeper is not the only position United are working on. The club still wants to bring in a new central midfielder.
Brighton star Carlos Baleba was high on their list, but Brighton told United he will not be leaving this summer.
Now United are looking at Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton. The 21-year-old is seen as a ‘dream’ target for the club.
The long-term plan is to have Wharton and Baleba together in midfield in the future.
But Palace may be hard to deal with, as they are already close to losing other big names like Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi.
What It Means For United
In short, United are pushing hard for Senne Lammens and the deal looks positive.
City are not involved, which is good news. At the same time, the club are also keeping an eye on midfield, with Adam Wharton now their main focus.
Fans will hope both deals move forward before the window closes, as Erik ten Hag still wants more players to improve his squad.
