Man Utd Plot Move for £173k-a-Week ‘Complete’ Striker: Gyokeres Dropped from Top List

by Alex Matthews

Manchester United are now looking to add more firepower to their attack, and the latest name on their list is Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain.

Reports claim the Red Devils are preparing a move to sign the £173,000-a-week striker this summer as manager Ruben Amorim wants a proven goal scorer.

Kolo Muani, who spent last season on loan at Juventus, is expected to leave PSG before the transfer window closes.

United are said to be ready to push hard for his signature in the coming weeks.

Kolo Muani Back on Form

The French forward had a good spell at Juventus, where he scored 10 goals and made 3 assists in just 22 games.

His pace, strength, and clever finishing have made him one of the most exciting forwards available on the market.

PSG are open to either selling him for around £39 million (€45m) or arranging a loan with an obligation to buy.

This could be an attractive deal for United, especially as they continue to build a stronger attacking line with the signing of Bryan Mbeumo, who is expected to be announced soon.

Newcastle Also Interested

Manchester United are not alone in this chase. Newcastle United are also keeping a close eye on Kolo Muani.

The Magpies could make a move for him if they lose their star striker Alexander Isak, who has been linked with a shock switch to Liverpool.

However, Newcastle are not likely to sell unless a big offer comes in, which could give United the advantage.

Amorim’s Transfer Plan

After confirming Matheus Cunha and soon Mbeumo, Ruben Amorim now wants to add both a new striker and a goalkeeper.

United are also looking at Senne Lammens, the Royal Antwerp goalkeeper, as a short-term fix with Andre Onana out injured for six weeks.

Kolo Muani, who is still under contract with PSG until 2028, is seen as the type of ‘complete striker’ who can lead the line for United.

His arrival would bring more pace, energy, and goals, something the team struggled with last season.

What Next for Man Utd?

If United can secure Kolo Muani, they will have one of the most exciting forward lines in the Premier League, with Mbeumo and Cunha already strengthening the attack.

Amorim is determined to bring back the fear factor to Old Trafford, and signing Kolo Muani could be the next big step.
