Man United Now Want Shock Premier League Return for Milan Star Who is on Fire in Serie A: Big Report

by Alex Matthews

Manchester United are having another tough moment with injuries, and this time it is a big one. Benjamin Sesko, the young striker who was expected to lead the line this season, is now out injured.

His absence has left Rúben Amorim with only one proper senior striker, Joshua Zirkzee. And with United fighting to stay in the race for European places, the club now feels they must act fast.

Even though United spent more than £200 million in the summer window to rebuild their attack, the squad still looks short up front.

The team has looked better in recent weeks and is unbeaten in their last five matches, but the lack of firepower could cost them in the long run.

Because of this, the club is now exploring the January transfer window for a new attacker who can bring goals, creativity and experience.

One name that has suddenly appeared again is Christian Pulisic, the AC Milan winger.

The American star has become one of Milan’s most important players, and reports suggest Manchester United are thinking about trying to bring him back to the Premier League.

United Turn Their Eyes to Pulisic

According to reports from Spain, Manchester United are now seriously looking at Christian Pulisic as a possible signing for January.

Pulisic moved from Chelsea to AC Milan in 2023 for around €22 million, and since then, he has been a key figure in the Italian side’s attack.

The American winger had big numbers during his time in Italy. He has been involved in more than 60 goals for Milan in just over 100 games, a strong return for a player who can play anywhere across the front line.

This season alone, he already has several goals and assists and continues to be one of Milan’s most dangerous players.

Pulisic is known for his quick feet, strong dribbling, and sharp link-up play. Managers also enjoy working with him because he is two-footed and extremely versatile.

He can play right wing, left wing, as a No. 10 or even deeper if needed. This makes him very attractive to a manager like Rúben Amorim, who often rotates his frontline and asks his wingers to help with pressing and fast transitions.

Reports say United believe the 27-year-old could be a safe option for the attacking rebuild in January, someone who already knows the Premier League well and can adapt quickly to the system.

Milan Do Not Want to Lose Their Main Man

However, the situation is not simple for Manchester United. AC Milan does not want to lose Pulisic.

He is under contract until 2027, and the Italian giants see him as a central part of their long-term plan.

In fact, news coming from Italy says Milan is already trying to extend his contract and raise his salary to show how important he is to the club.

There is also interest from Aston Villa, with Unai Emery said to be a big fan of the American winger.

Villa want to strengthen its squad as well, especially if they push for European places again. Their involvement could make the race more complicated for United.

Some football insiders believe that the rumours linking Pulisic to Premier League clubs may be part of a negotiation strategy.

By showing that big teams like Manchester United are interested, Pulisic’s representatives could push Milan to offer him a better contract.

This is common in football players, sometimes getting linked to big clubs right before a contract renewal.

But even if this is the case, there is no hiding Manchester United’s real problem, they need another attacker, and they need one soon.

United Must Act Fast in January

The injury to Sesko is a serious setback. Zirkzee has played well, but he cannot be the only striker at a club the size of Manchester United.

There is also pressure on Amorim because the team must finish strong this season. Failing to qualify for Europe would be a major disappointment after so much money has been spent.

Even if Pulisic becomes too difficult to sign, United must explore other options in the winter market.

They need a player who can score goals immediately, someone who can help them handle the busy winter schedule and keep the momentum they have built over the past few weeks.

INEOS, who now control football decisions at the club, have made it clear it wants Manchester United to move forward with a smarter, more long-term plan.

But for now, the short-term issue is the priority, Amorim needs reinforcements, or United risks falling behind again.

The idea of Christian Pulisic joining Manchester United will excite many fans.

He is quick, creative, and proven at the top level. He knows the Premier League, he can play multiple roles, and he brings the kind of energy Amorim likes to see in his front line.

But Milan will not let him go easily, and the price could be high.
